Los Habitantes de un Territorio Azul

Los Habitantes de un Territorio Azul is the story of Rayen, who accompanied by her cousin Aliwen and his friend Karü Wentxu, a puppet with the form of a fox, discovers that she belongs to a millinery culture, that of the Mapuche people. Rayen becomes aware, through her dreams, of the existence of a different world, one in which she has an important role to play.... she decides to go off in search of this role. During her journey Rayen reencounters her dispersed family members, and meets different magical and real personalities who provide her with a vision about her origin, her land, and her relationship with the land. She has not taken full consciousness of her future responsibility yet, but she accepts with honour and pride to be a member of this fantastic "blue territory".

Los Habitantes de un Territorio Azul is an educational video whose central theme is the rediscovery of the Mapuche people through their cultural, social and ethnographic phenomenology from the magical perspective of two children and a mascot. The contents of the video emphasis comprehension of cultural and natural surroundings with the following target learning objectives:

• Age 5: Knowledge of one's self and one's surroundings. • Age 6: Deepening of knowledge of one's self and one's surroundings. • Age 7: Exploration • Age 8: Diversity
